KEITH MARLIN is a photographer & filmmaker based in vancouver, b.c.
Having worked in film & television production for over a decade in New York City, Keith founded Brick Box Films in 2018 with a focus on Producing & Directing narrative short form content. 2020 marked a shift for Keith as a visual artist as photography helped fill the void the pandemic brought in it’s wake. With an emphasis on storytelling, each frame aims to capture an emotion though it’s composition in order to convey a feeling to it’s viewer.
Keith acknowledges first most that he lives and works on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
As a naturalist, you can find Keith outdoors during much of their spare time. Every season under the sun’s revolution brings passion and adventure to pursuits new and old. Winter is likely the most celebrated season for Keith; who lives in East Van with their wife and rescue doggo Ziggy Stardust. They both dream of owning their own sustainable wedding venue & event space in the woods someday.
